IN THE MATTER OF REVISING THE I RESOLUTION NO. 89 -74 -CC
GRANT COUNTY SOLID WASTE
MANAGEMENT FUND DISPOSAL FEE REVISING RESOLUTION NO. 85-138 cc
SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, pursuant to an Interlocal Agreement dated November 15, 1974,
Grant County was designated the lead agency to provide, operate and maintain a
County -wide Solid Waste Disposal System; and
WHEREAS, it has been demonstrated that the expenses for preparation and
handling of Special Wastes exceeds the revenues derived from the disposal fees for
the Special Wastes; and
WHEREAS, the funds required to operate the Grant County Solid Waste Disposal
System should be derived from fees collected from users of the system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Grant County, Washington that effective August 14, 1989, the fee for disposal of
Special Wastes containing asbestos shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00) per cubic yard.
