GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 89 -95 -CC
A RESOLUTION relat-ing t:o the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds for -the following department/fund:
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND ;001, MISC. GEN. GOVT. DEPT. #125
together with a budget; therefor; decla.ri.ng an emergency* ::incl
setting a public: hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.1-40.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of Country Commi.ssione:rs of Grant County that an appropr:i.at:i.oil
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/:fund, together with a budget the.rei'or, in
-t he estimated amount a:f $ $2,500 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not. included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such :funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonably :foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
department/fund: CURRENT EXPENSE FUND #001,MISC. GEN. GOVT. DEPT.#125
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall_ be given, said hearing -to be held on
October 24,1989 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
1:30 D.M.
