RESOLUTION NUMBER
89 -114 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND 1001, VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public, hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 30.40. 140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought: to the attention of the Board
ofCounty Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure of :funds .should be authorized for the above-
rnent::i.oned department/fund, together with a. budget therefor, in
the estimated amount of $ 171,105 and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not: :included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require -that such :funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not have been :reasonably foreseen
the time of making said county budget.:
NOW, THEREFORE, 13E IT RESOLVI3D I3Y '1'1IIs BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE 01' WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned :facts constitute an emergency and that an appropri.at:ion
a.rnd expenditure of :funds should be authorized :for the following
department/fund: CURRENT EXPENSE FUND #001.,Various Departments

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a pub=lic hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
December. 12,1989 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
GrartC County Corri•thouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour. of
1:30 p.m.
