HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 89-116-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RESOLUTION NUMBER 89 -115 -CC REGARDING PROPOSED AMEND- NOTICE OF HEARING MENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County will hold a public hearing in their hearing room, Courthouse, Ephrata,Washington on the 12th of December, 1989 at 2:00 p.m. regarding the possible amendment of the Grant County Zoning Ordinance, Section V., Agriculture, regarding segregation of part time farm units, and setting minimum lot size requirements for spin-offs in the Agricultural zoning district. Proposed amendment would read as follows: SECTION V., AGRICULTURE B. USES PERMITTED: (8)a. In accordance with the Grant County Short Plat exemption, any owner occupied residence and/or parcel of ground in the Agricultural zoning district may be segregated once every five years, so long as the segregation contains no less than two acres and the remainder of the original parcel contains five acres or more. EXCEPT: b. Part Time Farm Units -There shall be no further segregation of part time farm units as platted under the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project, based on water delivery problems that occur. Anyone wishing to appear and be heard for or against the proposed amendment to the Grant County Zoning Ordinance is invited to appear and be heard at this public hearing.
