GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 93 -22 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
Emergency Services Fund ;102, Department 4144 ,
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Grant County -that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .of. $ 3,500 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could riot have been reasonably foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that; an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
department /fund: EmerQencv Services Fund 4102. Department #144
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
May 10, 1993 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at; the hour of
'' 1.30 p.m.
