WHEREAS, it has been brought to tho attention of the Hoard of County Commissioners of Grant: Country that emergency condi t ions re(l0 re that an appropriation and expenditure or fundi; lit aut h- orizod for the above-mentioned department/fund, t:ol;c!the?r ti%,it:h a budget therefor; and WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.40.140, Resolution No.93-42-C.C. was duly adopted on 5/10/93 ,and published in the Grant County Journal on 5/20&5/27/93 declaring an emergency and stating the facts constituting the emergency and the estimated amount of funds required to meat it, together with ,t notic•.e of public: hearing, and said public hearing was held t.heroon where interested persons were allowed to appear and he heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13Y THE BOARD OF COUNTY CONINIIS- S IONF.RS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE, OF WASHINGTON, that an appropriation and expenditure of funds is hereby authorized for the fallowing department/fund: Grant County Building/Fire Marshal 001-116 in the total sum of $ 34,447.00 according to the attached budget. The Past two years have shown a definite increase of building construction activity, and the present staffing level will no longer support the requirements of State Law in the inspections required. This years expected permitting should match or exceed the 1992 revenue collections. Increases in fee's have been initiated as of January 1, 1993, as permitted by adoption of the 1991 UHC.
