A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A NEW FUND
TITLED "HEALTHCARE RESERVE"

RESOLUTION No. 18- � t q -CC
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that a new fund #525.000 titled "Healthcare Reserve" should be established; and
WHEREAS, this fund shall be dedicated to the healthcare reserves required for Grant
County's self -insured benefits program; and
WHEREAS, monies for this new fund shall be transferred from:
• Interfund Benefits Fund #505.185 in the amount of $3,000,000.00
• Interfund Benefits Reserve Fund #505.000.30 in the amount of $500,000.00
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund and transfer of monies into this fund may be
accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that
the following fund is hereby created and established as listed above and the Grant County
Auditor and the Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this fund in their
respective offices.
