WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has received a petition to vacate portions of j
certain County road and rights-of-way described as follows: i

Legal descrirti�n: Unbuilt County Rights of way east of a NW cul de-sac, Known as the
South 30 ft. of the SE '/4 of Section 23 T20N R26EWM, all in Grant County, and j

AS SHOWN on ATTACHED EXHIBIT A, �nd
i
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and abandonment was published
in the County official newspaper at least once a weelc for two consecutive weeks preceding the date �
fixed for the hearing; and a copy of said notice was posted for at least twenty days preceding the date �
fixed for hearing at each termini of the county road or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned;
and i
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the �
County Road Engineer,together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and
abandonment; and

WHEREAS,the above described County right-of-way is not useful as part of the County
road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board
of Commissioners,APPROVE: VACATING all interest in the County road right-of-way as
described above; EXCEPT any existing easement to accommodate existing power lines,
communications lines and other franchised and/or permitted public and private utilities.
