GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 93- 85 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the transfer of funds within the 1993 budget of the
Extension Equipment & Maintenance fund #123, Dept. #165.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant County
Commissioners that it is necessary to transfer funds in the current budget of the
above named County Department in the amounts and accounts enumerated below;
and
WHEREAS, there is no expenditure of funds not previously budgeted but a
transfer pursuant to R.C.W. 36.40.100 and County and State auditing procedures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the
following transfers within the current budget are hereby made:
1993 BUDGET OF EXTENSION EQUIP.& MAINT.FUND #123, DEPARTMENT
#165
AMOUNT TO
Account Number 508, $1,650, Account No. 571.50.48.00
TO RE -APPROPRIATE ENDING FUND BALANCE FOR THE COST OF
MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON THE PAWS WEATHER STATIONS.
This resolution is in the best interest of good government and shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.

We would like to do a transfer resolution in the amount of $1,650.00 to move funds
from account #508 to account #571 50 48. The transfer is necessary to appropriate
funds for maintenance on five Grant -Adams Area PAWS Weather Stations.
See attached itemized bill.

Power Supply System
(new battery, battery enclosure cleaning and cold galvanizing,
cleaners, terminal strips, mileage, miscellaneous supplies)
Sensor Maintenance/Repair
(clean and recallbrate leaf wetness, replace 4 sets of precision
bearings per wind set, gypsum blocks, RH calibration, Quincy
raingage. replace potentiometers on wind vane, mileage)
RF System Maintenance
(check and recalibrate radios for frequency drift, rebuild
antenna cable connectors, align antennas)
Station Structure/Site Maintenance
(replace all cable ties, replace buried cables and encase in
PVC conduit, clip grass/weeds)
