IN THE MATTER OF
VACATING A PORTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 93 -102 -CC
CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County,
Washington, were petitioned to vacate certain portions of unused County roads
described as follows:
That portion of Old County Road No. 526, established on
April 7, 1906 commencing at the North right of way line
for '9' NW; thence running through Section 17 & 18 of
Township 20 North, Range 23 East W.M. and terminating
at Crescent Bar Road in Section 'is, Township 20 North,
Range 23 East W.M.
WHEREAS, legal notice was published in the legal paper and was
posted on each end of the property to be vacated or as near as possible; and,
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer did give his report in favor of
this vacation; and,
WHEREAS, the road rights-of-way to be vacated is of no benefit to the
County or to the people of Grant County;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County's interest in the
portion of County Road No. 526 described above is hereby vacated.
