RESOLUTION NUMBER 93- 106 -CC
WHEREAS, the 1993 Legislature amended RCW 36.18.020 relating to
the assessment of fees for ex -parte court orders,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREY RESOLVED, that Resolution Number 87 -132 -CC
relating to the assessment of fees for Ex -Parte Court Orders is hereby rescinded.

This is a request to rescind Resolution No. 87 -132 -CC from
November 9, 1987. This resolution authorized this office to
collect fees for Ex Parte Orders submitted by mail for signature
and filing in the amounts of $3.00 and $8.00.
Effective July 25, 1993, the legislature incorporated into the
County Clerk's fees, the charge for --Ex Parte .Orders not to exceed
the amount of $20.00. We now charge $10.00 for Ex Parte Orders
with copies to be conformed and a stamped envelope enclosed and
$15.00 for Ex Parte Orders with copies for.conforming and/or return
envelope not enclosed. We collected $1,500.00 for Ex Parte Orders
for the year of 1992, so this should certainly boost the fees
collected in the future.

A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE
ASSESSMENT OF FEES FOR EX -
PARTE COURT ORDERS
Resolution Number 87 -132 -CC
WHEREAS, RCW 36.18.020 AUTHORIZES THE CLERKS OF SUPERIOR COURTS TO COLLECT
FEES FOR THEIR OFFICIAL SERVICES; AND
WHEREAS, fees have not previously been assessed for ex -parte court orders,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Superior Court shall
assess fees for the processing and handling of mail requests relative to ex -
parte court orders; provide for the method fo assessment and collection; and
establish the rates of such fees, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this shall apply to all mail requests received
by the Clerk of the Superior Court, to present ex -parte court orders and to
process the same upon.return from the Superior Court. Fees shall accompany
the mail requests and be paid by the requesting party except for those requests
which are exempt from payment of such fee by State law, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the processing fees shall be as follows:
