WASHINGTON NOTICE OF HEARING for the Assessment Role for Grant County Road Improvement District No. 92-1 RESOLUTION 93 - 122 - CC WHEREAS, the final assessment role for Grant County Road Improvement District No. 92.1 has been prepared and filed with the Clerk of the Grant County Commissioners, and WHEREAS, a public hearing is required under RCW 36.88.090 before a board of equalization to consider the assessement role for Grant County Road Improvement District No. 92.1, that provided for the improvement of "E" NE Road from 4 NE Road through Westshore Acres by constructing or reconstructing, by clearing and grubbing, grading, shaping, installing drainage structures, fencing, furnishing and placing crushed surfacing, constructing approaches, paving a 28 foot wide roadway, installing traffic control devices, and by doing all work necessary in connection therewith, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners will sit as a board of equalization for the purpose of considering such roll and will consider such objections made thereto, or any part thereof, and will correct, revise, raise, lower, change, or modify such roll or any part thereof, or set aside such roll in order that such assessment be made de novo as to such body shall appear just and equitable and then proceed to confirm the same by resolution, and WHEREAS, all objections to the confirmation of the assessment role shall be made in writing and filed with the Board of County Commissioners at or prior to the date fixed for the hearing, and shall state clearly the grounds objected to. Objections not made within the time and in the manner described in this section shall be conclusively presumed to have been waived. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, a public hearing on the assessment role for Grant County Road Improvement District No. 92-1 has been set for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 1993 in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room located in the Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, WA., and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Clerk is directed to give written notice to the owner and reputed owner of the property whose name appears thereon, by mailing a notice thereof at least fifteen days before the date fixed for the hearing to such owner or reputed owner at the address of such owner or reputed owner as shown on the tax roles of the County Treasurer, and in addition thereto, the Clerk shall publish such notice at least two times in a newspaper of general circulation in Grant County. At least fifteen days must lapse between the date of first publication of the notice and the date fixed for the hearing.
