Week of October 11,1993
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by
Chairman Helen Fancher. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk
of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes from the preceding session
as written.
The Commissioners received a summons and complaint from Doris L.
Bonderenko, et al. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
The Commissioners approved the staffing agreement for the Data Processing
Department.
The Commissioners received information from the City of Ephrata regarding the
County wide Planning Policy for Growth Management.
As there was no further business the session was continued until October
12,1993.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Potato Hill
Road -Liability Release(Trees), RID No. 92 -1 -Final Assessment Roll Hearing, CRP
Resolution -Dodson Road, Project Agreements -Bridge #104, Bridge #358, and Bridge
#395, and the Landfill.
A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison
that Resolution Number 93 -122 -CC setting a Public Hearing for the Assessment Rale for
Grant County Road Improvement District NO. 92-1 be passed. The motion carried.
Public Hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 9,1993.
A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead
that Resolution Number 93 -123 -CC in the matter of initiating County Road Project
designated as CRP No. 93-24 be passed. The motion carried.
The Commissioners appointed John Jensen to a position on the Grant County
Mosquito Control District #1 to replace Fred Baker,Sr.
The Commissioners appointed Wayne Sahli to a further term on the Grant County
Planning Commission.
The Commissioners appointed Orin Luddington to a further term on the Grant
County Planning Commission.
The Commissioners approved out of state travel to allow Sharon Kiehn to attend
the Northwest Forum on Child and Adolescent Services.
The Commissioners approved the request to purchase a new copy machine for
the Jail not to exceed the amount of $5,356 which is to include tax, deliver, and 1 year
maintenance contract.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Vouchers #9-1 through
#9-176 in the total amount of $1,834,771.61.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those
vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 10/ 11/93 in the total amount of
$173,180.47.
A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead
that Resolution Number 93 -124 -CC relating to the transfer of funds within the 1993
budget of the Law and justice fund #121, Department #163 in the amount of $750.00
be passed. The motion carried.
As there was no further business the session was adjourned until October
18,1993.
