SETTING ASSESSMENT RATE
FOR GRANT COUNTY ROAD RESOLUTION NO. 93 -129 -CC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 93-2 (GATEWAY
ESTATES) AT $32.00
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of February, 1993, Grant County, by order (Order)
of the Board of Commissioners (Board), established Grant County Road Improvement
District No. 93-2 (RID) for road and street lighting in Gateway Estates, and
WHEREAS, the Order set forth that the amount of the annual assessment for the
subject RID was to be determined by the Grant County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Treasurer has been informed by the Public Utility
District No. 2 of Grant County (PUD) of the accrued charges for 1993 and estimated
lighting charges for 1994, and
WHEREAS, the initial estimated assessment of $24.00 per taxable parcel would
not cover the accrued charges of 1993 and the estimated 1994 charges; and
WHEREAS, if Grant County were to increase the initial levy to $32.00 per taxable
parcel the charges assessed by the PUD would be covered,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that pursuant to the Order, the
Board certifies to the Grant, coun�y.Treasurer (Treasurer) an increase in the assessment
rate to $32.00 per taxable parcel in RID No. 93-2, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Treasurer use these figures for the
assessment rate in all future assessment rolls of RID No. 93-2 until further order of the
Board.
