GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 93-153 -CC
WHEREAS, there was filed in the office of the Grant County Commissioners
a written application for the formation of a County Airport District in the territory
comprising Desert Aire, and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Commissioners immediately transmitted the
application to the Grant County Auditor to certify the number of qualified signers
of the application, and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of November,1993, the Grant County Auditor
certified to the Grant County Commissioners that the requisite number of signers
had signed the application, and
WHEREAS, RCW 14.08.290 requires the Board of Commissioners to place
a proposition upon the ballot of the next election, general or special, to determine
whether or not the Airport District should be formed,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Grant County Auditor is
hereby requested to conduct an election on February 8,1994 for the purpose of
determining whether or not a County Airport District shall be formed.
The proposition on the ballot shall read:
Shall a County Airport District be established in the following area: The area
in Township 14, Range 23, Sections 22,23,26 and 27 known as Desert Aire
and all of Section 15.
