HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 93-159-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF REVISING THE GRANT COUNTY SOLID RESOLUTION NO. 93 -159 -CC WASTE MANAGEMENT FUND DISPOSAL FEE SCHEDULE REVISING RESOLUTION NO. 92 -164 -CC WHEREAS, pursuant to an Interlocal Agreement dated November 15, 1974, Grant County was designated the lead agency to provide, operate, and maintain a County -wide Solid Waste Disposal System; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to said agreement, Grant County acquired a number of sanitary landfills, other facilities, equipment and supplies, all of which belong to Grant County, in order to establish the Solid Waste Disposal System; and, WHEREAS, the funds required to operate the Grant County Solid Waste Disposal System should be derived from disposal fees collected from users of the system; and, WHEREAS, due to the increasing costs for operation of the disposal sites and the requirement to fully fund a financial closure assurance account there is a need to increase the disposal fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, that effective March 1, 1994, the fees for disposal privileges at Grant County operated Solid Waste Disposal facilities shall be as shown on EXHIBIT "A" attached.
