RESOLUTION SETTING
LAND CLASSIFICATIONS
AND ASSESSMENTS
PROPOSED FOR FUNDING
THE 1994 BUDGET OF
THE GRANT COUNTY
NOXIOUS WEED BOARD
RESOLUTION NUMBER 93- 163 -CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board has requested
the Board of County Commissioners to determine the assessments for funding the
1994 budget of the Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on December 20,1993 at 1:30 p.m. in
the County Commissioners Hearing Room at which time taxpayers were allowed
to appear and be heard; and
WHEREAS, there was no opposition to the proposed,land classifications and
proposed assessments which were:
IRRIGATED CROPLAND 30 CENTS PER ACRE
DRYLAND 10 CENTS PER ACRE
RANGE/SCABLAND 05 CENTS PER ACRE
PLATTED PARCELS/
Minimums $5.00 per parcel
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the control of weeds is a special benefit to
the lands within the district and the special benefits provided by the weed district
and the weed district assessment above stated are a special benefit to the land
within the district set forth in the assessment and that they should be levied.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS RESOLVED, that the above assessments shall be
levied on the above classifications, and the Assessor shall spread the levy on the
rolls and collect the same.
BY ORDER OF THE GRANT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS pursuant to
Resolution No. 93 -146 -CC holding a public hearing and having said notice of
hearing published in the Grant County Journal on December 9 and 16,1993.
