RESOLUTION ADOPTING
GRANT COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION FINDINGS
Port of District #3 of Mattawa
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been
advised by the Grant County Planning Commission that a Public Hearing was held on April
6, 1994 on the matter of changing the zoning from "AGR (Agriculture)" to "I-L(Light
Industrial)" in a portion of said Section 34, Township 15 North, Range 23 East, W.M. and ;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having said
recommendation, has given notice this matter would be considered at their regular meeting
on May 10, 1994.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that adjacent
land has like zoning.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have conditioned the
approval of said proposal on the stipulation that at the time of substantial development,
access will be directed to County Road '24' S.W..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners for Grant County, Washington by this Resolution, amend the Grant County
Comprehensive Plan and Official Zoning Map for Grant County to the effect that the
following described property shall henceforth be zoned as I-L(Light Industrial):
A portion of the South one-half (1/2) of the Northeast one-quarter (1/4) of the
Southeast one-quarter (1/4) of Section 34 , Township 15 North, Range 23 East,
W.M., Grant County, Washington a quarter mile North of the intersection of County
Roads '24' S.W. and State Route 243.
