GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 94- 72 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the transfer of funds within the 1994 budget of the Law
and Justice Fund #121, Department #163.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant County
Commissioners that it is necessary to transfer funds in the current budget of the
above named County Department in the amounts and accounts enumerated below;
and
WHEREAS, there is no expenditure of funds not previously budgeted but a
transfer pursuant to R.C.W. 36.40.100 and County and State auditing procedures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the
following transfers within the current budget are hereby made:
1994 BUDGET OF LAW AND JUSTICE FUND #121, DEPARTMENT #163
FROM AMOUNT TO
Account Number 508, $ 1,398.00, Account No. 115-594.23.62.06
TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF HEATER IN WORK
RELEASE C AREA.
This resolution is in the best interest of good government and shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.

AS YOU ARE AWARE, WORK RELEASE C WAS COMPLETED EARLIER THIS YEAR IN
THE JAIL. RECENTLY A PROBLEM HAS DEVELOPED S I NCE THE ONSET OF COLD
WEA THER. IT WAS BELIEVED THAT THE AREA WAS HEATED BY THE SAME
HEATING PLANT AS THE REST OF THE JAIL FACILITY SINCE ALL OF THE
DUCTING WAS IN PLACE. HOWEVER, THE AREA 15 VERY COLD AND THE
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT ADVISES US THAT THERE IS NO HEAT BEING
SUPPLIED TO THE AREA. THE HEATER WAS NEVER INSTALLED DURING THE
ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION.
ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND A PROPOSAL FROM MOSES LAKE HEATING AND AIR
CONDITIONING TO INSTALL A HEATER IN THAT AREA. THE TOTAL COST OF
$1397.50, THIS INCLUDES TAX.
