RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A
CASH ADVANCE(LOAN) TO THE
MENTAL HEALTH FUND
RESOLUTION # 94- 85 -CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Mental Health Fund has extensively
reconstructed their facilities; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the reconstruction is being financed by the Mental
Health Fund, and
WHEREAS, the cost of the reconstruction will deplete their cash on hand
below normal operating levels, and
WHEREAS, the Current Expense Fund has sufficient cash,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Current Expense Fund
advance (loan) the Mental Health Fund an amount up to $125,000 as needed, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the advance (loan) shall be interest free,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the repayment of the advance (loan) be
made in increments of $25,000 until paid in full, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that repayment will begin at such time as when
the Mental Health Fund cash on hand stabilizes at a level in excess of $250,000.
This resolution is in the best interest of good government and shall take effect
immediately.
