HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - BOCCu COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of July 11,1994 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with Commissioner Tim Snead and Commissioner LeRoy Allison in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Fancher was not in attendance. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. The Commissioners approved the salary of Robert Schiffner at $4,029 per month as a Special Deputy Prosecutor to work in the Office of Support Enforcement until such time as a permanent replacement can be hired for Mr. Kendall. He will be working under a Temporary Professional Services Agreement. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Donna LeBlanc at $1747 per month effective July 1,1994. ` The Commissioners approved the request by Grant County Mental Health to transfer sick and annual leave and medical benefits for Juniper Ridge Group Home employees who are hired by Directions in Community Living. The Commissioners approved the salary increase for Connie Wilson of the Treasurers Department to $1958 per month as a Deputy III. The Commissioners signed the 1994 Dispatch Agreement between Grant County Sheriff's Office and Quincy Valley Hospital. The Commissioners notified Chris Jacobson that the award of the contract on June 28,1994 for the construction of Bridge #315, Martin Road was rescinded effective this date. The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheriff Department to pay the amount of $6643.56 for a maintenance agreement with Motorola Corporation from E9-1-1 funds. The Commissioners set Public Meetings on the following items from the Planning Commission: July 26,1994 at 1:30 p.m., Preliminary Plat submitted by Jack and Delores Hilson. July 26,1994 at 2:30 p.m., Zone Change request by William and Mary K. Sanowski. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until July 12,1994. July 12,1994 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with Commissioner Snead and Commissioner Allison in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Fancher was not in attendance. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 7/11/94 in the total amount of $377,380.90. A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 94 -85 -Cc authorizing a cash advance to the Mental Health Fund be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund voucher approved #6-1 through #6-238 in the total amount of $1,770,627.86.
