RESOLUTION DECLARING SURPLUS RESOLUTION No. 17- ��'� -CC
1-SPEED MEASURING DEVICE—
RADAR UNIT
WHEI2EAS,pursuant to RCW 36.34.010,the Grant County Board of County Commissioners
has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the
needs of the county; and
WgIEREAS,the Grant County Sheriff's Office owns one (1) Speed Measuring Device
(MPH Bee III Radar, SN: BEE109000680); and
WHEREAS,the Grant County Sheriff's Office has determined this item is no longer of use to
the Sheriff's Office; and
WHEREAS,the Grant County-Sheriff's Office has requested that the Grant County Board of
County Commissioners declare this radar unit to be surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of this unit as surplus property, it is the intent of
the Sheriff's Office to give it to the Soap Lake Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above named item with the intent to give it to the Soap Lake
Police Department.
