WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget
appropriation to make the following expenditures:
l, Fund#309,Depariment#000 in the amount of$51,506.90 to pay DW Excavating the retainage owed
for theu•worlc on the Fairgrounds Sewer Project in 2016($50,080.76)budget was not carried over uito
2017);and to pay Whitney Equipment for manhole metering costs($1,426.14),
2. Fund#309,Depat�ment#000 in the amount of$4,963.00 to cover striping and beuig over budget for
the Parking Lot Repaving project.
WI3EREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing
the 2017 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON,that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of$65,339.90 to be allocated to the 2017 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
