RESOLUTION ADOPTING
GRANT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
FINDINGS IN MATTER OF BROWN
ZONE CHANGE

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been
advised by the Grant County Planning Commission that a Public Hearing was held on May
4, 1994 on the matter of changing the zoning from "AGR (AGRICULTURE)" to "S-2
(Suburban)" in a portion of said Section 2, Township 21 North, Range 26 East, W.M. and ;
WHEREAS, the Grant County Planning Commission made a motion for denial
of said zone change request
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County found that
after a Public Meeting on June 6, 1994 that more study and research should be conducted
relative to the area.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have given notice this matter
would be considered at a Public Hearing on July 5, 1994.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the existing
structures were permitted prior to development of zoning within Grant County.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the existing
use of the parcel is consistent with the Suburban -2 zoning.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners condition approval on
developer meeting the requirements of the Grant County Health District and the Washington
State Department of Ecology.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners for Grant County, Washington by this Resolution, amend the Grant County
Comprehensive Plan and Official Zoning Map for Grant County to the effect that the
following described property shall henceforth be zoned as S-2 (Suburban):
A portion of the Northwest one-quarter of the Northwest one-quarter of the Northwest
one-quarter of the Southwest one-quarter of Section 2, Township 21 North, Range 26
East, W.M., Grant County, Washington. Site is approximately 2.5 acres.
