HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 94-158-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION SETTING LAND CLASSIFICATIONS AND ASSESSMENTS PROPOSED FOR FUNDING THE 1995 BUDGET OF THE GRANT COUNTY NOXIOUS WEED BOARD RESOLUTION NUMBER 94-158 -CC WHEREAS, the Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board has requested the Board of County Commissioners to determine the assessments for funding the 1995 budget of the Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on December 5,1994 at 1:30 p.m. in the County Commissioners Hearing Room at which time taxpayers were allowed to appear and be heard; and WHEREAS, said meeting was continued from day to day, until the 28th day of December, 1994, convening each session day for the purpose of considering the assessments for funding the 1995 budget of the Grant County Noxious Weed Control Board, and WHEREAS, there was no public opposition to the proposed land classifications and proposed assessments which were: IRRIGATED CROPLAND DRYLAND RANGE/SCABLAND PLATTED PARCELS/ Minimums 20 CENTS PER ACRE 06 CENTS PER ACRE 03 CENTS PER ACRE $5.00 per parcel WHEREAS, the Board finds that the control of weeds is a special benefit to the lands within the district and the special benefits provided by the weed district and the weed district assessment above stated are a special benefit to the land within the district set forth in the assessment and that they should be levied. NOW, THEREFORE IT IS RESOLVED, that the above assessments shall be levied on the above classifications, and the Assessor shall spread the levy on the rolls and collect the same.
