HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - BOCCCOMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of March 13,1995 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Tim Snead. All of the Commissioners were in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Susie Mora of the Treasurers Office to $1,653.30 effective March 1,1995. The Commissioners approved the request by the Auditors Office for the purchase of one new computer and the exchange of various computers. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Ron Thompson of the Sheriff's Department to the salary for an Investigator. Chairman Snead was authorized to sign approval of the Liquor License Application of The Crest and Fuller Dry Falls Mini -Mart. The Commissioners approved the salary of Janice Goeden of the Treasurers Office at $1860.10 per month as a Deputy Treasurer III effective March 1,1995. A motion was made by Commissioner Fancher, seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 95 -24 -CC designating Tom Cloyd as a County Designated Mental Health Professional effective March 13,1995 be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners signed the 1995 Dispatch Agreement between the Grant County Sheriff's Department and Grant County Fire District No. 12. The Commissioners set a Public Meeting for April 4,1995 at 2:30 p.m. regarding the zone change request of Lonnie and Joan Adams. A continuation of a Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Fancher that Resolution Number 95- 25 -CC authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Capital Expenditure Department #141 in the amount of $16,715 be passed. The motion carried. A continuation of a Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Fancher that Resolution Number 95- 26 -CC authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Clerks Department #105 in the amount of $20,804 be passed. The motion carried. A continuation of a Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Fancher that Resolution Number 95- 27 -CC authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the CRID 92-1 Construction Fund #322, Department #001 in the amount of $1,847 be passed. The motion carried. A continuation of a Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Fancher that Resolution Number 95- 28 -CC authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Misc. General Government, Department #125 in the amount of $1,000 be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners signed a Proclamation declaring the first full week in April as Public Health Week. As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until March 14,1995. March 14,1995 The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Contract Execution -Tilt Trailer, Inter -local agreement -Adams County, Supplemental Agreement -'M' SE, Port Land. The Commissioners signed an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Grant County and Adams County regarding Bridge Project CRP -94-111. The Commissioners signed a contract with Norstar Industries,inc. for one Landoll 345-31 Tilt Trailer. The Commissioners approved the salary of Rachel M. Melcher of the Clerks Department at $5.00 per hour. Chairman Snead was authorized to sign the Software Purchase and License Agreement with Election Technology Company. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list fled in the Auditors Office 3/13/95 in the total amount of $432,970-39. The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval #2-1 through #2-164 in the total amount of $463,844.99.
