Week of March 27,1995
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by
Chairman Tim Snead. All of the Commissioners were in attendance.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as
written.
The Commissioners approved the request for transfer of funds in the Mental
Health Department in the amount of $2,500.
The Commissioners approved the request by the Cooperative Extension to sell
a surplus computer to the Noxious Weed Board for $500.00.
The Commissioners approved the request by Grant County Juvenile Probation
Department to transfer funding in the amount of $9,000 for various equipment purchases
from the salary category of Criminal Justice Funds.
The Commissioners approved the request by the Superior Court Judges to pay
Greg Grammer, new Juvenile Court Administrator his Administrator salary from February
1,1995 since he was serving as Acting Administrator from that time.
The Commissioners approved the request by the Prosecuting Attorney to
purchase an HP IV si Laser Printer in the amount of $3,688.
Chairman Snead was authorized to sign the Liquor License Approval of Smith
Bros. General Store.
The Commissioners approved the use of a Courthouse parking lot by the
American Legion from 5:00 p.m. August 4 to 6:00 p.m. August 6,1995.
The Commissioners received a signed copy of 1995 Dispatch Agreement with
Grant County Fire District #12.
A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner
Fancher that Resolution Number 95 -33 -CC authorizing the issuance of a Road
Improvement District No. 93-3 bond in the principal amount of $184,915 be passed. The
motion carried.
As there was no further business the session was continued until March 28,1995
at 9:00 a.m.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners in
attendance.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding Bid
Authorization on "B" NW and Mae Valley and Auctioneering Services, Annual CRAB
Certification and Personnel issues.
The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on Mae Valley Road
and B -NW Road, with Bid opening to be held April 18,1995 at 10:00 a.m.
The Commissioners signed the Authorization to call for bids on Auctioneering
Services, with Bid opening to be held April 25,1995 at 10:00 a.m.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those
vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 3/27/95 in the total amount of
$137,041.75.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval #3-1
through #3-3 in the total amount of $126,768.63.
The Commissioners signed the Public Works Payroll Journal for the month of
March.
The Commissioners held a Public Hearing on Grant County Mental Health Surplus
Property. A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner
Fancher that Resolution Number 95 -34 -CC declaring the property surplus and setting a
bid date for April 7,1995 at 10:00 a.m. be passed. The motion carried.
A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Fancher,
seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 95 -35 -CC authorizing an
appropriation and expenditure of funds for the D.D. Residential Program in the amount
of $45,856 be passed. The motion carried.
A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner Fancher,
seconded by Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 95 -36 -CC authorizing an
appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001, Prosecuting
Attorney Department #109 in the amount of $10,000 be passed. The motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Fancher, seconded by Commissioner
Allison that Resolution Number 9537-ec-(A)setting a public hearing for April 18,1995 at
1:30 p.m. relating to the facts requin J z,-, ;appropriation and expenditure of funds for the
DD Residential Program in the amount of $2,000. The motion carried.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was
adjourned until April 3,1995.
