RESOLUTION NUMBER 95-43 -CC
WHEREAS, an employee of the Public Works Department is combating the
disease of cancer and has exhausted his total sick leave and vacation leave
benefits; and
WHEREAS, said employee currently is not in a financial position to pay the
premium of his health and welfare plan and thereby continue his medical coverage,
and
WHEREAS, many employees have expressed an interest in diverting or
transferring some of their accrued sick leave to the account of said employee,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that any
Grant County employee who is interested in diverting some of their accrued sick
leave to the account of said employee may do so in the months of April and May,
1995 by submitting in writing to the Commissioners' Office the amount of sick
leave they desire to transfer along with their signature to this request.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND HEREBY ORDERED that the total amount
of sick leave donated shall not exceed 120 days, and
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED AND HEREBY ORDERED that this action shall in no
way be construed to set a precedent.
