GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTING
THE GRANT COUNTY SOLID
WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
UPDATE, DATED JANUARY 1995
RESOLUTION NO. 95-61—CC
WHEREAS, Grant County, acting through its Solid Waste Advisory Committee
and its consultant Thomas/Wright, Inc., has prepared an updated comprehensive
Solid Waste Management Plan entitled, Grant Countv Solid Waste Manag_ ement
Plan Update, January 1995, in accordance with the State Solid Waste
Management --Recovery and Recycling, Chapter 70.95, Revised Code of Washington,
and
WHEREAS, the public and the required state regulatory agencies have had
opportunities to review and comment on said plan during its preparation, and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Solid Waste Advisory Committee has adopted said
plan,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Grant County hereby adopts the
Grant Countv Solid Waste Manazement Plan Update, January 1995, to serve as
a planning guide for solid waste handling until such time as the plan is revised,
amended, or updated.
