SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 19 N.,
RANGE 28 E., W.M., GRANT COUNTY,
WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 95 -81 -CC
RESOLUTION ADOPTING
PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDATION

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been
advised by the Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on May
3, 1995 on the matter of approving the Preliminary Plat of Reidiel Estates a 14.6 acre subdivision
into 13 lots in a portion of said Section 18, Township 19 North, Range 28 East, W.M. and;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have given notice this matter
would be considered at their regular meeting on May 30, 1995.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have upheld the findings of the
Grant County Planning Commission that the zone change is consistent with the lot sizes in this
area, and this proposal is adjacent to similar zoning.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have upheld the findings of the
Grant County Planning Commission that this proposal is within the currently proposed Urban
Growth Boundary Area of the City of Moses Lake.
WHEREAS, the a Determination of Non -Significance has been issued for this
proposal.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have conditioned approval of
said subdivision on the proponent design and build water and sewer systems in such a way that
they can be readily connected to municipal services as they become available in this area.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have upheld the findings of the
Grant County Planning Commission to include as conditions of approval the recommendations of
the Grant County Planning Department as listed below:
1. 100 foot water supply protection zones shall be shown on the face of the final plat.
2. Erosion of on-site soils must be controlled so as not to affect adjacent properties.
3. Developer shall obtain all applicable permits as required by the Washington State
Department of Ecology.
4. 25 foot fire protection easements shall be shown on the face of the plat.
5. Well protection easements shall be shown on the face of the final plat.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners for Grant County, Washington by this Resolution approve the Preliminary Plat of
Reidiel Estates.
