WIESTER GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF WAW: cat ENCLOSURE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF TO APPLY TO IAC FOR ORV FUNDS RESOLUTION NUMBER: 95 -100 -CC A resolution authorizing the submittal of an application to the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation for funding assistance for an Outdoor Recreation Project from funds available through the Non - highway and Off-road Vehicle (NOVA) program as provided by RCW 46.09. WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Non -highway and Off-road Vehicle Act, state funding assistance has been authorized and made available to aid in financing the cost of Education & Enforcement programs, and the ORV Maintenance & Operation of ORV facilities for ORV and Non -highway Road purposes; WHEREAS, the County Commissioners of the County of Grant consider it in the best public interest to provide ORV Education & Enforcement, and Maintenance & Operation of ORV facilities within Grant County; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, 1. That the Sheriff be authorized to make formal application to the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation for funding assistance, 2. That any funding assistance so received be used in the provision of ORV programs in Grant County, Washington, 3. That any property acquired with financial aid through the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation be placed in use as an ORV and/or non -highway road outdoor recreation programs, and, management and disposal of such property will follow such guidelines set forth in the NOVA Program manual, Education/Enforcement and Maintenance/Operation, March 6, 1995, and 4. That this resolution become a part of the formal application to the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation.
