AGREEMENT BETV6�EEN GRANT
COUlo1TY AND THE KIl�TG C�UNT�
DII�ECTORS' ASSOCIATI�1�(KC]DA)
WH�REAS, Chapter 39.34 RCW,the Interlocal Cooperation Act,permits local goverminental
entities to make tha most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other�localities
on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and facilities in a manne:r and
pursuant to forms of gove�rnmental organization that will accord best with geo�raphic, econo�nic,
population and other factors influencing tl�e needs arid development of local commuriities; and
V6'H�REAS, Grant County, Washin�ton, a political slzbdivision, and the King County I�irectors'
Association, (hereafter KCDA) are vested with authority to enter into an interlocal ag;reement pur5uant to
chapter 39.34 RCW and Minnesota Statute § 123A.2.1; and
VVH�I2EAS, Grant County is authorized to utilize contracts competitively solicited by the
KCDA and enter into a"Washington Associate Membership Agreement—PuUlic Agencies
(Inter�overnmental Cooperative Purchasing/Procure�ment AgreamPnt"for the purpose;of acces��in�
available contracts for the purchase of inerchandise, supplies and equipment from KCDA Award�d
Vendors;

Agreement—Public Agencies(Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing/Procurement Agreetnent),
between Grant County and the K.CDA be executed by and between tlie aforemention�d parties.
