IN THE MATTER OF
VACATING CERTAIN
COUNTY ROADS
AND/OR COUNTY ROAD
RIGHTS OF WAY
RESOLUTION NO. 95 -172 -CC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County,
Washington, were petitioned to vacate certain County roads and/or County road
rights of way described as follows:
All that portion of County Road and/or County Road
rights of way within Sec 21, T. 17 N., R. 27 E. WM.
beginning 30' east of the west section line and 30' west of
the east section line of Sec 21, T. 17 N., R. 27 E. WM. and
lying south of the irrigation canal right of way for USBR
Canal No. W61.
WHEREAS, legal notice was published in the legal paper and was
posted on each end of the property to be vacated or as near as possible; and,
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer did give his report in favor of
this vacation; and,
WHEREAS, the road and/or road rights of way is of no benefit to the
County or to the people of Grant County;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the portion of County
Road and/or County road rights of way lying within Sec 21, T. 17 N., R. 27 E. WM.,
as described above, be hereby vacated and abandoned.
