IN THE MATTER OF PROHIBITING PARKING
ON CERTAIN COUNTY ROADS Resolution No. 96 -6 -CC
WHEREAS, Section 11A.04 of the Grant County Code authorizes the Board of County
Commissioners to restrict persons from stopping, standing, and parking of vehicles on certain
county roadways or portions of county roadways, and
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer has determined that a safety concern exists
because of persons stopping, standing, and parking vehicles on that certain portion of the county
road described below, and
WHEREAS, RCW 46.61.560 Subsection (2) shall continue to apply to drivers of disabled
vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that no person shall at any time stop, park, or
leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, upon the roadway of the following
described county road:
Road Name Road Log # MP to MP Location (From and To)
Silica Rd. 30990 5.08 - 6.07 Baseline West Rd. to 1 -NW Rd.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the County Road Engineer is instructed to place and
maintain proper traffic control devices as he may deem necessary to indicate no parking on both
sides of the above described roadway.
