Home My WebLink AboutResolution 96-011-CCRESOLUTION 96 -11 -CC GRANT COUNTY LEVIES FOR THE 1996 TAXES On this day of February, 1996, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington, providing for the assessment of taxes in the State of Washington, do hereby levy a tax on all taxable property in Grant County, and the taxable property within the various taxing districts, as shown by the Assessment rolls of said county, said being for the purpose of defraying the State, County, Road, Municipal, Hospital, Fire Districts, Cemetery Districts and other Expenses and WHEREAS, the amount so levied for the State purposes as determined by the State Board of Equalization has been certified to the County Assessor by the Auditor of the State of Washington, and WHEREAS, the Director, Supervisors and Commissioners of various School Districts, Port Districts and other Districts and Municipalities have been certified to the County Assessor for the amounts needed to meet the expenses for the year 1996, and WHEREAS, it is necessary in some districts that a tax be levied to pay interest on bonds, and create a sinking fund for the purpose of paying indebtedness, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, all members concurring, that for the purposes of raising revenue for the State, County, Road and other purposes, thereby and hereby is levied on all taxable property in the County of Grant, taxes sufficient to raise the following amounts.
