RESOLUTION NO. 96-24—CC
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by the
Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on February 7, 1996 on the matter of
changing the zoning from AGRICULTURE to SUBURBAN/AGRICULTURE in a portion of said Section 13,
Township 19 North, Range 27 East W.M. and;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having said recommendation, has given notice
this matter would be considered at a Public Meeting on February 26, 1996;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that proposal is adjacent to land
zoned Suburban -Agriculture.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that lot sizes of this proposal
would be consistent with lot sizes within a one mile radius of the proposal
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for Grant
County, Washington, does, by this Resolution, amend the Grant County Comprehensive Plan and Official Zoning
Map for Grant County to the effect that the following described property shall henceforth be zoned as
SUBURBAN -AGRICULTURE:
That portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 19
North, Range 27 East, W. M., Grant County, Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner which is the true point of beginning of the land herein
described; thence South 0 Degrees 26' 30" West, along the West line of Section 13, a distance of
588.36 feet; thence South 88 Degrees 52' 20" East, parallel with the North line of Section 13 to
the East line of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 13, a distance of
1324.9 feet; thence North 0 Degrees 19' 00" East, along said 1/16th line to the Northeast corner
of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 13; thence West along the
North line of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter to the true point of beginning. Said
area contains approximately 17.88 acres more or less.
