GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 96- 75 -CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Treasurer has advised that Grant County's portion
of the P.U.D. Privilege Tax will be deposited in the County's depository account on June
20,1996 in the amount of $1,251,540.92, and
WHEREAS, Grant County Cities and Towns have received the following amount
from the Grant County Treasurer's Office:

RE: PUD PRIVILEGE TAX
According to R.C.W. 54.28.090, the county legislative authority
shall direct the county treasurer to distribute these funds to
each taxing district in the county other than school districts in
a manner they deem most equitable, except not less than an amount
equal to .75% of the gross revenue obtained by a district from
the sale of electrical energy within any unincorporated city or
town shall be remitted to such city or town.
Attached is a copy of the computation of the cities' and towns'
portion which amounts to a total of $125,091.87 and money to go
directly to Fire 8 General and North Central Regional Library.
The balance of $1,125,797.57 is to be distributed according to
your direction.
