RESOLUTION APPROVING
A PLAT ALTERATION

WHEREAS, the Boazd of Counry Commissioners of Grant County have been advised
by the Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on November 5, 1997 on
the matter of altering Lots 4 and 15, Block 4; Marine View Heights, Division #2located in
a portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 17
North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington (6815 Belmont St. SE).
WHEREAS, the Grant County Planning Commission made a unanimous
recommendation to approve with seven ('n conditions, the alteration of lot 4 and 15 by combining them
into one lot approximately 0.57 acres in size.
WHEREAS, the Grant Counry Board of Commissioners held a public meeting on
December 2, 1997 and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Counry Comnussioners have made a decision to uphold the
recommendation to approve the proposed plat alteration request with the conditions as stipulated by the
Planning Commission.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proposal is
consistent with the Grant County Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS, the Boazd of County Commissioners have found that the public use and
interest will appazently be served by the plat aiteration.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the proposal will not
adversely effect the health, safety, and general welfare of the public in the vicinity of the proposai.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the Plat Alteration
should be govemed by the following seven (7) condirions of approval.
NOW, THEIZEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners
for Grant County, Washington approve by this Resolurion, a plat alteration of Lots 4 and 15, Biock 4;
Marine View Heights, Division �#2 located in a portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 18, Township 17 North, Range 28 East, W.M., Grant County, Washington (6815 Belmont St.
SE).
The plat alteration is approved subject to the following conditions.
I. Development shall be in compliance with the Growth Management Act, The County-Wide Planning
Policies, The Washington State Environmental Policy Act, the Grant Counry Comprehensive Plan,
the Grant County Zoning Ordinance, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, ruiings
or requirements.
2. Development shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Grant County Fire Marshal
including but not limited to the Uniform Building Code aad Uniform Fire Code.
3. Development shall comply with all improvements and restrictions required by the Grant County
Public �lorks Department.

regarding domestic water supply, s�wage systems and storm water cantrol aud treatment including,
but nat li�nited to: RCW �0.48.08U �ischarge of PoIluting Water Prohibited; WAC 173-2Qi,
Surface Water Standards; WAC 173-201A, Graund Water Qnality Standards and WAC 246-2�2,

5. If any Native Americau Grave szte(s) or archaealagzcal/cultural resources {Indian Artifact�) are

Colvflle Confederated Tn"bes and the Washington State Office oi Archaea%gy and Historic

6. I3evelc�gment shall camp2y with ali requirements of the US Deparnnent of ihe Interior, Bau�eau of
I�ecIaxnatian and the Quincy Calumbia Basin irrigation Disnict.
7. Any outstanciing assessmen�s shall be equitably ti�vided and Ievied against the renlai�ing Iots, parcels,
tract�, or be levied equitabl� on the lots resulting from the altexatiou.
