tc�gether with a budget there�or; declaring an emergency; and '
setting a�Sublic hearing date�;.a11 pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WH�REAS, it has been b�ought to the attention of the Board
of Cc�untp Commiss�oners r�f Grani Cau�ty that an app�opri.at�on
�nd �x�e�sdit��e o� funds shaaz�d be authori.zed far the abave--
me�t�on�€� departme�t/��nd, tagether v�i�th a b�adget t�.erefcar, in
t�Ce e�ti.m�.t�d. a�na��t .o� $ $39�,097 ; an€�
VdH��.EAS, expenditure of` such �unds was �ot included in the
current budget o� Grant County, iaowever, emergent condition�
no� require ihat such iunds be expended; and
WIiER.EAS, it appears that a.n emerge�cy exists and �hat the
expenditure c�� such �unds could not have been reasc�nably foreseen
at the time of making said cc�unty budget;
N�Vd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE �OARD OF COUNTY Ct�M--
MISSIONERS OF GRANT �OUl�ITi', STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the aioxe-=

and expenc�itur� o� funds sho��d be �.uthorized for i�.e foliowi�g
