A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE
IVIATTER OF THE ADVANCE WITNESS
FEES AND TRAVEL FUND(ACCOUNT)
RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-146-CC
WHEREAS, the Advance Witness Fees and Travel Fund Account
was established by Resolution #8'I-1 �15-CC in the amount of $1,000; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-144-CC temporarily raised the
amount firom $1,000 to $5,000; and
WHEREAS, in the forthcoming trial in Seattle it will be used for
in-state and indigent defense witnesses; and
WHEREAS, Advance Witness fees and travel amount needed in
this instance would severely deplete th� total amount available for
other ordinary advance fees and travel;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED i'HAT THE ADVANCE
WITNESS FEES AND TRAVEL FUND ACCOUNT be temporarily
increased as af this date frorri $5,000 to �10,000 and that it will revert
back to the original amount of $1,000 when there is no longer a need
for the increase.
