A RESOLUTIO�T relating tQ the fac�s requixing an �.ppropriatir�n
and expenditure of funds for the frallowing department%fund:

together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and '
setting a ptzblic hearing date; aIi pursuant to RCW 36.40.14�1.
�VHEREAS, it has been brought to �he attention o� the Board
oi Caunty Commissioners o� Grant County ihat an apprapriatian
and expenditure o� funds should be author��ed for the abave--
mentianed depar�men�tjfund, toge�he� wiih a b��dget there�or, in
the estimat�d amoun-� .o� $ �t�onn ; and
�'�HEF�EAS, expenditure o� stz�.h �unds was nat included in �he
current budget o� Grant County, however, emergent candi�ians
nQw requixe that such �unds be expended; �nd
V�EREAS, it appears ihat an emergency exists and that t�e
expe�diture of such funds cmuld not have been reasonably �oreseen
at the time o� making said county budget;
NOW, TI�EREFdRE, BE IT RESOLV�D BY T�IE BOARD �F C�ITNTY COM-
MISSIC3NERS 4F GRAI�IT C�UI�TY, STATE �F WAST3INGTfl�i, t}�at the a�ore=
mentioned �ac�s cons��.t�te an eznergency a.nd tha-t az� apps°oprzation
and expenditure o� �unds should be authorized �or -�he following
c2epartmen�/iund; Fair Fund ��116, �ept.�� 158 9
together w�th a budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that not3ce o� a public hearing upan
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be heZd on
.7une 30,1.�97 in the Grant Caunty Cammissioners' �f�ice,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephra�a, Wash3ngion, at the hour o�
1:30 t�.m.
