RES(}LUTION NUMBER 97-90-CC
'� RESC?LUTION relating to the fac�s requiring an a.ppropriation
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
Current Expense Fund ��001, Clerk & Misc. Gen. Govt.Departments ,
�ogether with a budget there�or; declaring an emergency; and '
settang a public hearing date; alI pursuant to RCti#� 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, �.t has been brought to �he attentian o� �he Baard
o� Coun�y Gommissioners of Grant County that an appropriataon
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the above-
men�ianed deparim�nt���nd, together with a budget ther�ior, in
ti�e estimated amoun� .oi $ 74 360 ;��d
�iEREAS, expenditure o� such �unds was nat included in the
eurrent budget o� Grant County, hc�wever, etnergent canditions
now require that such funds be expended; and '
tiUHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists �.nd that the
expenditure of �uch funds could not have been reasanably �ore�een
at the �ime of making said county budget;
NC�W, THEREFt1RE, BE IT RESaLVED BY �HE BOARD !JF COUNT� C4M-
MISSIQNERS OF GRANT CflUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afoxe=
mentioned fae�s coa�stitute an emergency and that an appropriatian
and expenditure of funds shauld be authorized far the �allowi�g
department/�und: ��rrent Expense Fund i�OQl, Clerk & Misc.Gen.Gavt.Dep�.s.,
together with a budget �heref�r.
BE IT FURTHER RES�LT�ED that notice of a public hearing upan
such expe�.diture sha1.3. be given, said hear��ng to be held on
.7une 23 1997 in the Grant Caunt'y Commissioners' Of�ice,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washingt'on, at the hour af
1•30 p..m.
