RESOLUTION NUMBLR 97-42-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds ior the following department/fund:
402 - 176 D.D. Residential Department
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
j4'HEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .of $ 20,000 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such funds be expended; and
WHER.EAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
e�penditure of such funds could not have been reasonably foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, TH�REFORE, BE IT I�ESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
n7ISSI0NERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�ore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
department/fund: 402 - 176 D.D. Residential Department �
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure sha11 be given, said hearing to be held on
April 22,1997 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
1:30 n.m. .
