WHEREAS,The Grant County Planning Department owns a Trimble GPS unit(sn: 350004356),
a GeoExplorer 3 (sn: 440106658), and GeoExplorer Data Collection(sn: 350002945), all which are used
for GIS functions; and
WHEREAS,The Planning Depai�tment purchased this unit in 2002 and has determined that this
unit is now obsolete, has no trade in value, and has been unsupported for many years; and
�VHEREAS,It is the intent of the Planning Department to dispose of this unit at the Grant
County Landfill and �nd a suitable recycling location for the battery(ies); and
WHEREAS, The Planning Department is requesting that the Board of County Commissioners
declare surplus this unit.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT H�REBY 1tESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above named Trimble GPS unit with the intent as listed
above.
