WFi�REAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have be�en advised
by the Grant County Planniag Commission that a public hearing was conductec� on Jannary 8, 1997 on
the nnattex of ci�anging the zoning from PLANNED UNIT DEV�LOPMENT to LTGHT INDUSTRI�,L
in the Southeast Quazter af the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Rauge 23 East,
W.M., Grant Caunty, Washington.
WE�REAS, the Graut County Plauning Commission had no recc�lnmendation to the
Grant County Comntissioners due ta the lack of a quozum vote.
WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of County Com�uissioners held a public heariag
on February 3, 1997, 2:30 p.m. regarding this rewne request.
WHEREAS, the Board af County Commissianers have found that the proponent did
present sufficient evidence fhat changed circumstances in the area of the subject property warranted a
rezone of the praperty.
WHEREAS, the Board of Caunty Commissioners have faund #hat the praposed rezone
is in the public's best interest atad bears a s�bstantial relationship ta the general welfare of the residents.
WHEREAS the Board c�f Caunty Commissionars ha�e found that the proponent has
demonstrated that a need epists zn the area far agticultural praperty.
NOW, TI3EREFC3RE, BE IT RESOLVED, thax the Board of County Commissioa:ers
