RESOLUTION NUMBER 96-176-CC
�. RESC3LUTION rel.ating to the facts requiring an appropria�ion
an�i exgenditizre o� �unds for the iallowing department��und:
EmvloXee Benefi.ts Fund i�504, Department ��183 :
together with a budget there�or; declaring an emergency; and `
' setting a publ,ic hearing daie; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.340.
WHEREAS, it has been brought ta the at�ention o� the Baard
o� County Commissioners of Gran-t Cflunty that an apprvprza�ion
and expenditure o�' �urids should be authori�ed ior the above-
mentioned deparimentjfund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .af $ 63,000 ; and i
W�i�REAS, expencii�ure o� such iunds was nat included z� the
current budge� o� Grant County, hawever, emergent conditians
now require that such iunds b� expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such iunds could nat have been rea.sanably fQrese�n
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE I T RESC3LVED BY THE BOARD C3�' C4ITi�3TY COM-
MISSZONERS QF GBANT CO�TNTY, STATE OF W�.SHINGTON, that the a�ore=
mentioned �acts canstit�te as� emergency a�d that an appro�riation
and expenditure of �u�.ds should be a.u�hori�ed far -�he �c�llowing
d.epa�'tment/fu11d: Emplovee Benefits Fund ��504, Department;��183 r
together with a budge� �herefor.
BE IT FIIRTHER RESCILVED that notice of a public hearing upan
such expenditure shal3. be given, sa3d hearing to be held an
�ecember 23,I996 3n the Gran.t Caunty Cc�mmissioners' Of�ice,
Grant Caunty Courthouse, Ephrata, Washingto�, at t�e hour o�'
