All of the Commissioners we�e in attendance with the Clerk ofi the Board. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. The Commissioners received a Tort Claim for Damages fram D.Gene Taylor, et ux, et al. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Atto�ney and the Public Works Director. The Commissioners no�tified the Accounting Department that the amount of $2Q,722.78 from the Capital autlay budget was needed fior the purchase of a new Paragon Mail Processor. The Commissioners approved the request by the Senior Opportunity and Services Center of Moses Lake for a grant from the County in the amount of $3,000 for the Senior Nutrition Program. The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheri�'s Department for the amount of $1,712 to be added to their travel budget for the extradition of two wanted felons. The Commissioners approved the request by the Maintenance Department for the purchase of a new snow blower in the amount of 1666.25. The Commissioners approved the salary increase ofi Elisa M. Ponozzo of the Clerks Office to $1814 per month, effeciive December 1,1996. The Commissioners approved the request for Transfer of Funds in the Era�ergency Services Fund #102, Department #�144 in the total amount of $5,771. The Commissioners approved the request by the Grant County Historical Museum for transfer of $5,000 from their Repairs- Maintenance budget to their Miscellaneous account. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Kevin Bailey of the Grant County Juvenile Probation Department to $2,411.10 effective November '1,1996. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Kathy Waltho of the Grant County Juvenile Probation Department to $2,628 per month effective November 1,1996. The Commissioners approved the siarting s�lary c�f Chr�stine Garcia a� the �rar�t County A#�ohoi and Drug ��n�er a� $2,794.�Q per month effective D�cember °I&,199�.
