All of the Commissioners were in attendance. The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding sessaon as vvritten. The Commissioners approered the request by the Count� Coroner for the purchase of a two body refrigeration cooler in the amount of $1,080.00. The Cor�rnissioners approved the request by the IVlain#enance Supervisor for two additional staff �ositions in the 1997 budget. T'he Commissic�ners approved the request by the Assessor for the replacement of their microfche cop�er in the amount of $3,325 from the capital autlay budget. The Comrnissioners approved the request by the Planning Direcior for a budget in�rease to the �rowth Management Budget in the amount of $8�,000. The Commissioners approved the reques# by the Emergency Managevnent Director for a budget increase in the amount of $s,210. The Corr�missioners held a continuation of Public Hearing on the Zoning and Short Plat Ordinan�es. A rnotion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commissioner Fancher to rescind B�4) of Section 2 of the Grant Coun$y Short Plat (�rdinance, reiating to ihe farmstead exemption. The motion carried. A motion was rnade by Commissioner Allison, seconded by Commission�r �ancher to rescind Exemption (7), of Section 2 of the Grant County Short Plat Ordinance9 and insert a new Exemption �7) io read as follows; "(7) Th� division of land into two parcels except where the land is located in the agricultural zoning district." The motion carried. The Commassioners signed the Warrants List #81594 through #82080 for ihe Octaber payroll. �1s of thas date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 11/4/96 in the totai amount of $580,804.44. The Corramissioners held a Public Meeting regarding the request for a plat altea-ation from property owners of Lot #5'I and Lot #53 in Division Five of the Desert Aire Planned Unit Development to divide in half the adjoir�ing Lot #�2 and add the half lot to their respective lots. A motion was made by Commissioner Aliison, seconded by Commissioner Fancher to uphold the Planning Corrar�ission recommendation for approval of the Plat alteration, including the conditions recommended by the Planning Department, to in�lude RCW 58.�t7.215 as a condition of approval, with Staffi to write of findings of fact. The motion carried. The Corrumissioners held a Public Meeting regarding the request by the Quincg� Golf and Country Club for a one year time extension for their Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development, a subdivision of 106 lots on 4�4.28 acres North of �he Corpora#e limits of the Cit� of Quincy. A motion was made by Commissioner Fancher, seconded by Commissioner Allison to uphofd the Planning Commission recommendation to grant a 2 year extension. The rr�otion carried. The Corr��nissioners held a coa�tinuatian of the Public liearing on the Zoning anc! Short Plat Ordinance. A rnotion was made by Comrr�issioner �ancher, seconded by C�mmissioner Allison to adopt the addition to the Ag Zone, Section V of B10 as re�risec9. The motion carried.
