RESOLUTION NUMBE�. 96-126-CC
A RESOLUTI�N relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and �xgenditure of funds for the iollowing departmen�/fund:
Juvenile Facilities Construction Fund ��302, TenartmPnfi ��nni �
tagethe� with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCiN 36.40.140.
�'H�REAS, it has been brought to the atteniion of the Board
of County Comtnissioners af Grant County that an appropriatian
and expenditure of funds should be authorized �or the above-
mentioned departmentffund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .of $ 600,000 ; and
i^IHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent canditions
now require tlhat such iunds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and �hat the
expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonably ��reseen
at the time af making said cauniy iaudget;
NQW, 'fiHERE�'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CC7UNTY COM-
MISSiOI`�ERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore=
mentio�ed �acts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the follo�vir�g
departmezlt��'und: Juvenile Facilities Constr�tcti�n F�incl �b'�(l�,n�t ��Q(11 �
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTH�R RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
october 8.1996 in the Grant County Commissioners ° Office,
Grant County Gou�thouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
1•30 p.m.
