RESOLUTION N€T�BER 96-119-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriatzcn
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
Veterans Assistance Fund ��104, Dept. ��146

together with a budget tYzereior; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date; all pursuan� to RCW 36.40.140.
W�IEREAS, it has been brought to the at�tention o� the Board
Qf County Commissioners of Grant Caunty ihat an appropriation
and expe�diture of funds should be authorized �ar the above-
mentioned degartment/fund, together �ith a b�.dget th�refor, in
the esti�nated amount .of $ 6.000 ; and
WHE�,EAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant Cour�ty, hawever, e�ergent conditions
now require that such f�nds be expended; and
�+VVHER�AS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonably foresee�
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, �HEREFORE, BE IT R�SOLVED BY �HE �OARD OF COUNTY COM-
MTSSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE O�' WASHINGTOIV', that the afore=
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the ioliowang
dep�.rtme�t /fur�d : Veterans Assistance Fund ��104, Dept. ��146

iogether with a budget therefor.
�E IT F'URTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such exgenditure shall be given, said hearing to be helci on
Se�tember 23,1996 In the Grant County Commissioners' Oifice,
Grant Caunty Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
1•30 p.m.
